Returning to Marigolds after a fantastic gig in 2010, Beth and the Black Cat Bones are a blues, soul and swing band based in London, UK. Formed two years ago they have gone from strength to strength and managed to establish themselves as firmly rooted on the blues gigging circuit in the UK.

With regular gigs at venues such as Ain't nothin but the blues, The Blues Kitchen, the Gladstone and trips to Europe playing at venues such as the Brussels Rhythm and Blues Club they are rapidly becoming a renowned and energetic blues band spanning the length of Europe.
They have an impressive repertoire taking classics and lesser known gems from the bare roots of the blues through to 60's soul. With a growing fan base, plenty of energy and a bit of old fashioned grit Beth and The Black Cat Bones will give you a night to remember!

Peter King and the Brian Dee Trio:  http://peterkingjazz.com/bio.html

Peter King, in the words of one critic, “is the finest alto saxophonist that Britain has ever produced, and one of the finest in the world today” (Dave Gelly, 'The Giants Of Jazz', Aurum Press, 1986).

He has been a major influence on the British Jazz scene ever since he played (at the age of eighteen!) at the opening of Ronnie Scott's Club.

Peter has played and recorded with far too many famous jazz legends to list here during his career.

He has played all over the UK and Europe, Middle East, Russia, Japan, America and was the only non-American artist invited to perform at the Gem Theatre in Kansas City during a week of celebrations in honour of Charlie Parker in March 1999.

Peter is a prolific composer and arranger, one of the best known works being "Janus", a BBC commission, featuring his own Quartet and the "Lyric String Quartet".

He has appeared in films and on sound tracks.

In 1999, Peter played and performed in the Julian Barry play ‘Lenny’, about the life of Lenny Bruce where he was on stage throughout the play and acted in several small scenes. Directed by Sir Peter Hall and with Eddy Izzard in the title roll of ‘Lenny’ the play received rave reviews when it opened in London’s West End.

Peter is also known for his recorded work with the pop group, ’Everything but the Girl’ and as featured soloist and Musical Director of the Charlie Watts Quintet and Tentet.

Brian Dee has performed several times at Marigolds in the past and is one of the UK's leading jazz pianists. He has worked with a list of jazz stars that again is endless but includes recording with Bing Crosby, Johnny Mercer, Peggy Lee and Fred Astaire. He is still making frequent appearances at Ronnie Scott's and broadcasts regularly on radio with his own trio.
